| Brand NEW versions! Now version 4.4D B5 US version ==>
Software Versions 10/13/15!!! User's Manual (all versions) 7/26/10. RBLC Web Standalone Editor (SAE) - version (4.4D B5) - NOTE - There have been significant change in "4.4D B5". Of course we updated the usual files/tables but the most significant change is that the SAE should now work smoothly under Windows 7. (For more info on why it did not work and what was changed see Note 1 below.) All users should uninstall any older versions of the Editor (using the UNINSTALL program in the RBLC SAE Start Menu group) then download and install the new version immediately. If you are using an older version (i.e., one with an old or even with no "build" number on the main screen or one with an executable dated before 10/13/15), please download, install, and start using this new version as soon as possible. Just select the appropriate country specific version of the software - US, Canada, or Mexico - unzip and install the program. The American and Canadian versions are in English and the Mexican version is in Spanish. Just as with the old version, using the SAE your agency can enter and submit data to the RBLC from your own PC without a Web connection. Just download and unzip the appropriate ZIP file, review the included "ReadMe" file (this is very important!), and start the SETUP program. Once you are finished entering data, select the SAE's "Create Upload File" option, follow the directions, and send the resulting file to the RBLC. We'll take it from there. Note 1 - Technical Info on the Program Changes: Version (4.3D B5) followed the same general installation path as older ones - one new directory was created in the installation folder to house the program and two sub-folders were created to hold the Archive abnd Upload files. Unfortunately, Windows 7 - and the current security "climate ' - changed all of the security rules. Windows 7 "intrepreted" the install code differently. It usually placed the EXE file is a seperate folder and most times the two sub-folders were not created. The new version of the Standalone Editor still creates one program directory, however, no sub-folders are created in the program directory.
