One-year Bar on Trade or Treaty Negotiations
Were you involved in any trade or treaty negotiations during your last year at EPA? If you were, then you have an additional restriction.
For a period of one year after you leave federal service, you can't knowingly represent, aid or advise person or entity (other than the United States) concerning any ongoing trade or treaty negotiation in which you participated personally and substantially during you last year in Government.
A treaty is defined as any agreement that requires the advice and consent of the United States Senate (as provided for by the Constitution).
