After You Leave: 
What You Need To Know
After you leave federal service, you will still be subject to the criminal provisions of 18 U.S.C. 207 and its implementing regulations under 5 CFR Part 2641. If you were a procurement official, you will be subject to the Procurement Integrity Act at 41 U.S.C. 423(d) and 48 CFR 2.104.
Some of the restrictions depend upon whether you were a supervisor or whether you worked on grants or contracts.
