Does the municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill generate methane (CH4) equal to 25,000 metric tons of CO2e or more per year?
Instructions. You can review the source category definition in Subpart HH. - Municipal Solid Waste Landfills Section 98.340 (including the November 29, 2013 rule amendments) to determine if your landfill is part of the source category, estimate emissions by using the methodology provided by Section 98.343, and then indicate your response. Alternatively, you can use the MSW landfill assessment utility linked below to estimate emissions.
