Abstract

The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program Manual provides operational procedures being used for the collection and reporting of air quality and meteorological monitoring data for the monitoring network in Tijuana, Baja California. These procedures have been designed to meet or exceed the requirements for quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) for ambient monitoring set forth by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and any applicable local regulatory requirements.

This manual provides:

  1. An overview on the objectives of the QA/QC program
  2. A list of hardware used on monitoring programs as well as their descriptions and specifications
  3. Detailed procedures for QA and QC
  4. An overview of data processing and reporting procedures
  5. References

In addition, the manual includes appendices that contain detailed information on hardware used on the monitoring programs. This information includes step by step calibration procedures, preventive maintenance schedules and instrument specific forms used by TEAM Environmental Services* in its monitoring program.
