Abstract
This project provides fact sheets for scrubbers that are used to control particulate matter and gaseous emissions. The fact sheets briefly describe:
- each technology
- its theory of operation
- where it can be applied
- its control efficiency
- cost effectiveness
- other critical operation and maintenance factors
The technologies addressed by this project follow. If you want to download information about a particular technology in English, please click on the link of interest to you below. The information also is available in Spanish.
- Condensation Scrubber
- Fiber Bed Scrubber
- Flue Gas Desulfurization - Wet, Spray Dry, and Dry Scrubbers
- Impingement Plate/Tray Tower Scrubber
- Mechanically Aided Scrubber
- Orifice Scrubber
