Abstract
This project developed a comprehensive mobile source emission inventory for Ciudad Juárez. Phase I consisted of data collection and development of the GIS transportation network, funded by SEDESOL (now SEMARNAT), while Phase II (the focus of this report) consisted of:
- data quality assurance and its verification as necessary
- development of trip generation and distribution models
- development of a mode choice model. This model could be used to develop emission data for the Ciudad Juárez mass transit system and also could be used to design a rapid transit system in Ciudad Juárez.
A project report is available in English and in Spanish.
