The steady state Domenico model determines the concentration along the "centerline" (if such really exists) of a plume. Since the model is steady state, concentrations do not change with time. The applet demonstrates

  • Centerline concentration from a infinite source, with unchanging transport parameters (i.e., ground water velocity and direction never change)
  • Parameters that influence steady state transport (note the lack of the retardation coefficient)
  • The impact of the source width and thickness in three dimensional problems
