Ambient Monitoring Technology Information Center (AMTIC)
The EPA is currently undergoing an evaluation of the PAMS program. The first PAMS sites began operation in 1994, and as such, have been in operation for over 15 years. Many changes have occurred during those times that have changed the ozone problem in the US as well as our understanding of it. The PAMS re-engineering is re-evaluating the program objectives, network design, and measurement technologies. The following documents have been developed as part of the ongoing PAMS re-engineering.
