Using the TANKS 4.09D program with Internet Explorer 7

If you are using IE 6 or earlier and experiencing problems with the report 
function, please return to the TANKS webpage and see the solution for
"TANK reports blocked as pop-up or Active X not allowed. "

Problems have been reported using the TANKS program with IE 7.   The report
function will not work and the program locks up.  The report function in TANKS
generates an XML file which opens a window in Internet Explorer.  It does not 
currently support any other Internet browser.

We have successfully run TANKS 4.09D under the following scenario.  Please 
check with your desktop support team before doing anything that might effect
your Internet browser or your operating system.

Be sure you are using the latest version of IE 7 (version 7.05730.11 or above).

Under the IE7 Tools/Internet Options/Advanced menu, go to the Security check
list.  The following options should be checked:

- Allow Active content to run on My Computer
- Enable native XMLHTTP Support

You may have other options checked as well.  Do not undo these as they may 
effect other IE7 and Internet operations.
