   Imperial Valley/Mexicali Cross Border PM10 Transport Study
                                

     This README file provides information on the electronic copy of the 
"Imperial Valley/Mexicali Cross Border PM10 Transport Study," Final Draft 
Report, April 21, 1995 that is available at this site (File Name IVMSAS.ZIP).  
This report was prepared for the U.S. EPA Region IX, San Francisco, CA, by the 
Desert Research Institute (DRI), University and Community College System of 
Nevada, Reno, Nevada.  The EPA project manager is Barbara Bates.  The 
principal investigators for DRI are Judith C. Chow and John G. Watson.  The 
DRI Document Number is 8623.2D1.

     This electronic copy is a compressed PKZIP (v. 2.04g) file of the text 
and tables for the "Imperial Valley/Mexicali Cross Border PM10 Transport 
Study."  To preserve the subdirectory structure in which the files were 
originally saved, create a new (or empty) destination directory and use the 
following command to expand the file within that destination directory.  
(This assumes that "IVMSAS.ZIP" is not in the destination directory, and that 
the command is entered at the prompt for the directory in which "IVMSAS.ZIP" 
does reside.)

      < PKUNZIP -D IVMSAS.ZIP <DESTINATION PATH/DIRECTORY > 

    Alternatively, you may place "IVMSAS.ZIP" in the new (or emty) directory 
and then expand it by using the following command at the prompt for that 
directory.

     < PKUNZIP -D IVMSAS.ZIP >

     This electronic version does not include any figures because most were 
done in SigmaPlot 3.02 for Windows and, to the best of our knowledge, do not 
import into any other program.

     Files that end with a .DOC extension were created with Microsoft Word 6.0  
for Windows.  Files that end with a .XLS extension were created with Microsoft 
Excel 5.0 for Windows.
