Rule and Implementation Information for Off-Site Waste and Recovery Operations

  • Petition for Reconsideration for Offsite Waste and Recovery Operations
    May 18, 2015 - Eastman Chemical Company and American Chemistry Council filed a joint petition for reconsideration, amendment and administrative stay of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP): Offsite Waste and Recovery Operations. The EPA granted reconsideration of the first issue related to pressure relief devices on February 8, 2016, and denied reconsideration of the second issue related to LDAR connector monitoring requirements. The denial was published in the Federal Register on May 16, 2016, at 81FR30182.
