Overview
The Station Home Page gives
general Station location and statistical information on the sampling results
for the Station that you have selected. It gives you the option to
proceed to other pages to get more detailed information on each result.
Display
Station Page
Based on the Station that
you have selected, the Display Station page shows the identification and
location information on the Station. In addition, a list of Characteristics
with monitoring results and corresponding number of results is displayed.
This page links to other web pages that allow you to get a detailed report
on Characteristic results.
Station
Identification Information
For the Station selected,
the Station ID, Station name, and its Organization ID and name are shown
below the page header.
Station
Location Information
For the selected Station,
location information on the Station type, latitude/longitude, elevation,
state, county, and Hydrologic Unit are given. If the Station type
is Ocean, Great Lake, or Estuary, then the name of the Ocean, Great Lake,
or Estuary is also shown.
Characteristics/Results
Count List
This list gives the Characteristics
with monitoring results and number of results recorded for sampling done
at the Station. Note that no user-defined Habitat Characteristics
are displayed. If you wish to get a detailed report on the Characteristic
results, click on the name of the Characteristic that you are interested
in. Characteristic results are categorized into three types: Regular
(non-biological physical or chemical data results), Habitat, or Biological.
Depending on the type of results found for the Characteristic, you will
first proceed to the Characteristic Detail page or directly to one of the
Results by Station pages.
Characteristic
Detail Page
If you have selected a Characteristic
with multiple result types reported, you are taken to the Characteristic
Detail page. This page shows each result type and its corresponding
count.
Station
Identification/Characteristic Selected
The Station ID, Station
name, its Organization ID and name, and the name of the Characteristic
selected appear below the page header.
Counts
for Multiple Result Types
The result types and counts
for the selected Characteristic are shown. To get a report on the
Result details, you must click on one of the result types (Regular, Biological,
or Habitat) and proceed to one of the Results by Station pages.
