Tribal Recommendations and EPA Responses

EPA requested that states and tribes submit recommendations to EPA for PM2.5 attainment and nonattainment areas by February 15, 2004. EPA responded to state and tribal recommendations during the summer of 2004, and designations became effective on April 5, 2005.
Tribal recommendations are presented below.
