9:30 am - 10:15 am Acid Gas Removal Techology Options/Engelhard Molecular Gate (PDF) (25 pp., 424K) - This presentation will detail cost effective solutions for reducing methane emissions from the various acid gas removal technologies. The benefits of each will be reviewed, with an emphasis on Occidental's installation of the Engelhard Molecular Gate technology.
10:15 am - 11:00 am Directed Inspection and Maintenance (DI&M) and Infrared Leak Detection (PDF) (24 pp., 445K) - A detailed review of implementing a DI&M program at production facilities to detect, measure, prioritize and repair leaks to reduce methane emissions. Emphasis will be placed on using infrared imaging technology to aid in leak detection.

11:30 am - 12:15 pm Producer Best Management Practices (PDF) (21 pp., 204K) - This presentation covers several cost-effective methane emission reduction opportunites, including replacing compressor ignition, installing electric compressors, installing electronic pilots in flares, and glycol dehydrator optimization. Details of the implementation decision process, cost and benefit information, and practical implementation tips will be provided.

1:15 pm - 2:00 pm Vapor Recovery Tower/VRU Configuration (PDF) (32 pp., 632K) - This presentation provides the costs and benefits of installing a vapor recovery tower/VRU to reduce methane emissions from condensate or crude oil storage tanks. Details will include operating parameters and necessary equipment for installation.
2:00 pm - 2:45 pm Partner Experience (PDF) (19 pp., 4.3M) - Occidental will discuss their approach and experience in implementing cost-effective methane emissions reduction technologies and offer insight for obtaining operational and managerial support for these efforts.
