Does the municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill generate methane (CH4) equal to 25,000 metric tons of CO2e or more per year?
Instructions. The calculated value of your MSW landfill’s estimate of adjusted CH4 generation (i.e., the metric tons CO2e) is greater than or equal to 20,000 but less than or equal to 50,000. Because the value is within this range, you need to estimate your landfill emissions more precisely using the methodology provided in the rule at Subpart HH. - Municipal Solid Waste Landfills Section 98.343.
