Green Book Nonattainment Areas

Downloads:   Data  |  GIS  |  Maps

This page provides links to sets of maps available throughout the Green Book. Maps are updated each time a new version of the Green Book is posted. Each map includes a month/year date indicating the last time the map was updated for a Green Book posting. Links for new sets of maps will be added to this page as nonattainment areas are redesignated to maintenance for new standards, and as areas for new NAAQS are designated.

The maps are downloadable as zipped PDF files. The filenames of the zipped maps include the date the Green Book was posted. The individual state maps have been generated with ESRI shapefiles for the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) listed below. Since area shapefiles are not available for standards other than those designated before 2004, maps for older NAAQS are national maps based on whole county boundaries.

The shapefiles used to generate these maps are available in the GIS Download section.
