Abstract

Under this project, updated Spanish versions of the EPA dispersion models and related software were prepared. The models were originally developed under project CICA-96-03. The English and Spanish versions were posted on the CICA Web on 12-07-2000. You can obtain the English version of the dispersion models and related software at the Support Center for Regulatory Air Models (SCRAM) Web site.

ISC3 Model

The Industrial Source Complex Model (ISC3) is a steady-state Gaussian plume model which can be used to assess pollutant concentrations from a wide variety of sources associated with an industrial complex. ISC3 operates in both long-term and short-term modes. The Spanish language version of the ISC3 model is identical to the English version used by EPA and is fully functional and operational. The files available (only in Spanish) are:

You will also need a Spanish version of EPA's PCRAMMET program. PCRAMMET is a preprocessor for meteorological data that is used with ISC3 and other EPA models. (See below).

PCRAMMET Program

PCRAMMET is a preprocessor for meteorological data that is used with the Industrial Source Complex 3 (ISC3) regulatory model and other EPA models. The Spanish language version of the PCRAMMET program is identical to the English version used by EPA and is fully functional and operational. The files available (only in Spanish) are:

SCREEN3 Model

SCREEN3 is a single source Gaussian plume model which provides maximum ground-level concentrations for point, area, flare, and volume sources. The Spanish language version of the SCREEN3 model is identical to the English version used by EPA and is fully functional and operational. The files available (only in Spanish) are:
